Too many good memories from this movie. Friday is hands down one of my favorite movies, and this shirt just makes me love it even more. "Well fuck you! You half-dead motherfucker...Com'on sister"

And in other news...I got accepted to the Seville program from abroad!!! Im so pumped I cannot wait! Im going with Tim too, so we are going to be out of control! He was talking to one of our friends who got back this quarter and he said that beers are like $1 and food is hella cheap...heaven. The only bad news i've heard is that there is no weed...major downgrade, but that is probably a good thing for 2 reasons. (1) I should cut back and not smoke as much and (2) all the more reason to go to Amsterdam!!! hahaha.

Spring break is in a week and i cannot wait!

<lj:music>Ghosts of York - As Tall As Lions</lj:music>

Since 2 people told me yesterday that I need to update my LJ, I'm going to listen to them. So here is what is going on in my life right now...

First off, I've been really busy with school and AKPsi so what has been taking up a lot of my time. So is work, even tho I'm not working that much. We have Mid-courts which is like a second round of interviews. It's fun to be on the other side of things is time, cause i get to see all the pledges freak out. hahaha im mean. I picked up a Little. Her name is Sarah, and she should make a good addition to my family.

Second, I got a nice surprise on Monday when i went out to my car and saw that someone took a key and dragged it along the side of my car. Yea... and i JUST got it back like 2 weeks ago from a little bump 'n grind action with a deer. So now I am going to have to see how much this shit is going to cost to fix. Fucking A!!

Roommate ish: Rooming with Wes has been alright, surprisingly. He is working the year too and he goes home kinda often, so I get the room to myself mostof the time. Me and my SCU buddies have been trying to figure out where we want to live next year, and we are doing behind Wes' back cause no one wants to live with him. I feel bad, cause if that were we I wouldn't know what to do with myself. But he honestly brings it upon himself. everyone who meets him, tell me later that he is weird and annoying. And once they find out he is my roommate, they are like "God, i donno how you do it" Thanks, I know. He just follows me everywhere, and wants to do things I'm doing. He talked about joining frat at the end of last year, so I think I am going to try and convince him to rush so that he can get out there and make his own friends haha. But trying to figure out housing next year is going to be interesting. X...wanna live with us if you come to SCU? haha

Study abroad week was last week and I'm torn with where i want to go. At first i was thinking about going to Spain or London. Spain sounded like a lot of fun, but i love London. The London program sounds awsome cause you go to class the first 6 weeks, and then the rest of the time you are doing an internship at a company! That would be so sick to work in another country and get that experience. Then last night, Tim was talking to me about doing a semester at sea. And i was like, oh that does sound cool, but i donno about being on a ship. He said that you are in classes on the ship for 4 days and then you go into port and are there for 4 days. So i looked at the places the ships ports, and they fucking go to Japan, Egypt, and Turkey!! I have wanted to go to Egypt for so long once i saw that, i thought, "Shit! I know i really dont know where i want to go?" This is going to be a tough choice.

I ready for all you peeps to come home and hang out. Veteran's Day weekend is going to be awsome. And Bruce texted me this morning and found that he is coming home tomorrow. So its going to be nice to hang out with kids from home. And Shaby is coming home this weekend too....let's see how things go. haha

And I'm going to try and update this more, sorry Bs

PS If you don't watch Weeds, you need to download the second season and watch cause that show is fucking awsome! And it's not just because it's about the ganja.

This world is filled with some interesting people. Today I was in the fitting rooms, and this lady comes in and i say, "Do you need a fitting room?" And she replies, "yea". I the proceed to count her items. She had over 5 items so I said, "oh you have over the 5 item limit, are there a certain 5...""yea yea ok just give me those".....(fucking bitch didn't even let me finish talking). So i take her clothes and go back the little cubbie to get her number and the key. She then says to me, "You know if you want me to try them on, the clothes kinda need to be closer to me." (yea i know whore i need the golden key to open the door so you can try on these clothes that are clearly too young for you). And then she left all her shit in the dressing room....it was nice.

Later this mom and daughter were trying things on. So the mom finishes first and then proceeds to talk to me. She had a thick accent so it was kinda hard to understand what she was saying, but i went along. Anyways she gets on the subject that she would get some clothes here if she was younger and skinner. I'm like, "oh yea...." She then tells me that she is 51. Awkwardly I say, "OH really...you look pretty good for your age" And after i said that...totally remembered her kid was in the changing room.

But I got out of there pretty early so that was fucking awsome...and I got some bamf ish. And on another note...loves how someone jacked $3500 worth of Lacoste polos last weekend....hellsicktight!!

MuteMath tomorrow!!

So last night I was chillin with John and the Kins. We were having a little sesh at BH and it was hella chill. So we drive around for a little and what not. Then we decide that we are going to make a White Castle-ish trip to Wendy's. Let me say, it was bomb. haha.

Anyways, so after we eat we head back to Toga so I can take Bruce home. I'm drive up Pierce and as I go around a blind turn, a deer jumps out of nowhere and decides that it is going to "back that thang up" on my grill. Yea, it left its mark. My grill is busted, and mess behind the grill is broken, and there is a cute dent in the hood. Just what I needed! Looks like my first paycheck to going to JoJo back together again.

So I hung out with Shaby for the first time in like three weeks. I knew that going to see her was going to be kinda awkward, and then def were in the beginning. And I really thought that things were going to end badly, as they usually do, but surprisingly it was good. When I was getting ready to leave, we got into an arugumentment about somethings and I really thought that i was going to leave her house on a bad note, but we ended up talking for about 2 hours. It was a conversation that was in dire need of happening. We basically told each other how we really felt about one and other and our "situation". It was a surprisingly great conversation, and I'm really happy that she stopped my from driving away to have this talk. So hopefully things will be 10x times better in the future.

On another note, tomorrow (or today), I am going to SF with the crew. We are going to the MOMA, and bumming around that city. It should be awsome.

P.S. I love coming home and chillin with Mika and her B-ball buddies and downing 4 beers. hahaha.

*The beer has nothing to do with what I said about Shaby.
So last night, about 16 people from my floor decided that we should go bowling, drunk bowling that is. Let me just say that it was AMAZING. I don't think i have ever laughed so hard and for so long. So the night started off with beer and margaritas in the rooms. There were probably 12 people packed into Chris and Justin's room. Chris made margaritas and other people had some beer, cans and a mini keg. And after 4 beers, Drunk Martin was starting to make his appearence. I was having an awsome time picking music that both me and Dee agreed on (props to John for hooking it up with some stellar jams.) I planed to not drink and just help with driving and dealing with people, but that kinda didn't happen...oops. So right before we were heading out to leave, i decide that i am going to have a couple of shots for the road. And then i was DONE.

Bowling...omg...sooo good. Just imagine a huge group of drunk people yellling and cheering other drunk people on. I lost my voice half my into the night. Some people had to stay behind and wait for another car. But while they were waiting, they went back to the rooms and made more drinks for people. Loves it! God, there were so many funny things that happened. And then when we got back, Chris (who was sober at bowling) started drinking when we got back. And he got TRASHED. We went to the basement to play ping pong, or "pling plong" as he called it. He couldn't even serve the ball. It was so funny to watch. I woke up this morning and my stomach hurt from laughing so much last night.

We are def going to be doing more floor activities in the future.

Less than two weeks till the crunk fest with Cal, X, Tuankins, and Timothy. It is going to be so awsome!! Can't wait to see you guys!

For the past two weeks my grandpa had been in the hospital. We all thought that this was just going to be another one of his spells and was going to recover from it. He knew however, that he wasn't going to be able to go home. He past away this last Friday and that has been the reason for my lack of contact with everyone.

It has been really hard to deal with everything. It is hard to see my grandma because eventho she says that she is alright, I can see it in her eyes that she is truly sad. She is probably the strongest woman I know. She has been through so much during her miracle of life. And seeing her next to my grandpa at the hospital ripped me apart. Death is something that we all try and prepare for because we know it is going to come. But when it does, you are never ready for it. I'm glad that he is at rest now and is free. It was weird, when he passed, I looked out the window and the sky was all clouds except for this oval area of clear sky directly across from his window. It was as if it was his window to peace. And when he passed, the sky closed up and it started to rain.

It has been especially hard for Mika. She was on Dallas looking at SMU when my grandpa died. She has been upset because she feels that she should have been here and is mad at my mom for having made her go to Dallas. I think it was better that she wasn't here. She would have been really upset and watching someone die is not that last memory you want to have of someone you love, especially when you are really close to that person as Mika was to grandpa.

And with his passing...out come the family secrets. There are things about my grandpa that I know that Mika doesn't. She is probably going to be told these things eventually, but not right now. My mom told me tonight that my grandpa didn't like my dad, when i thought all along he did. That was a big shock. She told me that my dad has never paid child support and that he is a "deadbeat dad". That really hurt. Hearing those words come out of her mouth was not something I needed right now. I know there are going to be more things coming out and I donno if I want to hear them.

This is going to be a hard next few weeks. So if I am not too talkative or seemed upset, you'll know why. It's hard not seeing someone you expect to be there, and it is an adjustment I will have to get use to. And sorry if I made anyone upset, I just needed to talk it out cause sometimes that is a little hard in this family.

So i get a call from ryan at like 7 saying, "Hey, Marty. My mom is having a party, but it is going to be ending around 930, so come by and help me Bob and Kristie finish the booze here."

So i get there and all the adults are TRASHED. It was hilarious. Mrs. Walters (Brent's mom) was there and she was out of control. She was saying the most "WTF" and "OMG...did she really just say that?!" comments ever. Here are some of the ones i can remember

"Did you know that fellatio prevent breast cancer? Yea, its filled with vitamins and proteins"
"If I had a penis, i would rule the world with my penis and breast"
(after Karen Walters took shots with Bob and Marcy) "OMG Kristie, you need to send me these pictures and then ill put them on Brent's Facebook!"

There were others but i can't remember them. But it made me miss everyone so much. Just being back in Toga w/o the whole crew was just sad. And of course we HAD to go to Jack in the Box. It brought back so many great memories, and has me looking forward to spring break and summer so effing much.

Oh and Kristie busted out with the best serve ever to Bob..."Bob throws game like a blind girl with no arms" HAHAHA.
Once again i am very sorry for being MIA on LJ.

Anyways, where is what has been going on at SCU. On Tuesday, about 16 of us went to the Truck Stops & State Lines Tour (Panic, Academy Is, Hellogoodbye, and Acceptance). The show was awsome! Hellogoodbye was hilar. At the end of the sesh, they all dressed up as food and condiments and started dancing all around the stage. Panic as probably the best there. They gave a killer performace. And of course, Academy was great too but Will just kinda gets on my nerves. He is just way too into himself and a little too fem. He is still kickass, but he needs a new act. It was so crazy going with all these people. And of course we got late because I had to pick up Cyrus from the bus station at like 515 and we needed to leave at 530. So "Crazy Martin" came out, and was def weaving in and out of traffic on the way up to the city... and got really close to hitting 2 cars on the freeway, so people were freaking out but there was no way i was going to hit them. I think i need to chill out with my driving....

So last night was my Big Brother revealing for AKPsi, and it was held at Henry's aka the place that doesn't card. I love it how they keep the door open for us and then as soon as we walk in, they chain the door and deadbolt it. hahaha. The place was packed. It was so crazy. My big bro is pretty chill, and my big bro's big bro is hella chill too. And secretly he knew that I smoked... loves.
Sorry that i have kinda been MIA for the last few days. I've just had to deal with some family issues and just needed some alone time (thank god I live close to home). I wont get into the details, but basically what happened was that my cousin called me on Monday and just wanted to know how things were going. He then asked how were with my grandparents. I said they were fine and I asked why. He then proceeded to tell me all these things, and I was just totally not expecting them. So that basically killed my night, and any chance of my studying for my midterm the next day.

So yesterday (Tuesday), I went to Mika's senior game, which they won! I was really happy that I was able to see her last game. She got really emotional at the end cause this is probably going to be her last time playing on a team. She played really well, but fouled out. It was all good tho. Anyways I stay at home last night cause I needed to talk to my mom about all the things my cousin told me. So after talking to my mom for like an hour and half, I felt a lot better. Anyways, sorry for not being around the past few days.

On another note....I'm really excited for this weekend. John, Bruce, and Ashkon are going to be here. <lj:music>New City _ The Fold</lj:music>

I Think i might have a stalker...

You are striving for a life full of activity and experience and, perhaps even more, an environment where you would be able to forge a close bond with a person who can offer full emotional fulfillment.

You have always been on the move seeking affectionate, satisfying and harmonious relationships. Your ultimate goal has been the realization of an intimate union in which there could be love, self-sacrifice and mutual trust. It has often been said that 'True love is just around the corner' and - if you haven't found it as yet - you possibly soon will.

The way things are, you feel that you are stuck in a rut and there is not much you can do about it. You feel frustrated and inhibited but if you can find a way to let yourself go, you may find that things aren't quite so bad as perhaps you thought they were. One consolation is that since you are an extremely emotional individual, with the right person you may be able to release some of that frustration and tension with some mutual tender loving care.

Recent disappointment has led you to become truly introverted. You are becoming suspicious of everybody and consequently you now feel that you are unable to trust anybody. Unfortunately it would appear that you are curbing your natural enthusiasm and imaginative nature - perhaps this is because you are fearful that you may become over enthused and find that you could possibly be carried away by wishful thinking. You are keeping your distance to see whether attitudes towards you are sincere - but this watchfulness could easily develop into suspicion and distrust.

You really would like to be completely uninhibited - to let your hair down - but you are held back by your sense of logic and rationality, since you realized that by simple stupidity you could lose everything - whatever that may be.

These things weird me out

    <lj:music>Noticed _ MuteMath</lj:music>

The city is always an adventure. And last night was no exception. I went to go see Mute Math with Reese, Lauren, Dave (Reese's roommate), and Nick(a kid who live down the hall from Reese and Dave). So we planned to leave at like 750 cause the doors opened at 830. We don't end up leaving until 830 cause someone decided to go to dinner with her fam, which caused us to be late (*cough* *cough* Lauren!)But it ended up being ok cause we didnt miss any of the opening bands. Anyways, as everyone was getting into the car, Reese says to me, "I have a confession, WE ARE ALL DRUNK!" hahaha. This made for a pretty awsome car ride to the city. People were freaking out about my "crazy" driving (*psssh*). And then we had to stop about half way there cause bitches had to pee. When we get up to the city, Im pulling into this parking lot and my car bottoms out. OUCH!

OK to the show...First off, MuteMath is amazing!! They are just so awsome to see live. They have so much energy and it radiates into the crowd. They alternated between playing their new stuff with their old EP, which was good cause no one knew their new stuff. Their album is awsome by the way, and just ask me and ill send it to you bitches. The only bad thing(s) were these two women standing in front of me. They must have been either coked out or on E or just really drunk. During the whole show, they were just unnecessarily hyper. One of them was jumping up and down during the whole show and the other was swinging her hair from side to side. The hair bitch gave me a couple of nice swipes to the face. But other than that, the show was kick ass. Mute Math is going to be on Tv on Friday, so peep them then.

Sorry I don't have any pics (left it in the car...again!)

This was a pretty awsome night compared to others. I met up with John, Cyrus, Pav, Amanda and Suzanne at stars and we all decided that we were either going to smoke or drink. So yea... we went over to Suzie's pool house and started doing out business. I have not gotten the high in a long time....and it was pretty amazing. And as usual, i was chiming in with those classic "Martin look"s and busting out some hot quotes.

But i think the best part of the night was when me and Amanda went to Jack in the box and found out on the way there that we only had 12 dollars. And we both agreed that that would be plenty of money. When we got to the lady in the box and ordered, the total came to $12.94...and we were like "oh fuck what are we going to do?!" Then i reached into my pocket to mind that i had $13, was the best thing of the night.

P.S. I <3 the magical plant....

Sorry, i haven't updated in hella days...Just been too busy (aka nothing exciting has happened). Well, for my birthday, all I did was study. Pretty lame and boring but I need to do well in my finals. I was at home for part of the day to study in a quite and ADD free environment. Shaby came and hung out withe me for a couple of hours which was nice. Then i came back to school, to find that my room had been attacked. Some girls from the 7th floor came and decorated my room. They gave me a Sponge Bob pillowcase and cards and whatnot. Then, the girls and bitches on my floor surprised me and took me out to dinner. It was really awsome! Wes, Jesal, Tim, Chris, Nick, Adam, Paige and Lauren all went. It was pretty kick ass.

And now i have to get back to studying..cause that is what the cool kids do on their birthdays....:(

God, I can't wait to see everyone in a few weeks/days!!!! We need to do something cool guys!

    <lj:music>Mute Math - Control</lj:music>

I just got back from seeing Mae live, and that was so much better than see anyone from Laguna Beach. (haha i <3 you X) OMG they were soooo good. I was really happy cause they played "ready and waiting to fall" and "anything", two songs that I really wanted to hear that they didn't play the first time I saw them. I went with a kid named Reese and met some other people that go to SCU who were there too, kinda hilar. I thought that the opening bands weren't going to be that good, but I was totally smacked in the head. One band was Mute Math, and holy crap were they awsome! We all chipped in and bought their CD. We were all surprised by how good they were. Mae was awsome, except for the fact that their session was way too long. They were up there for and hour and a half! Their set was really good, but standing on your feet for 5 hours kinda sucks. My back basically felt like it was going to fall off.

Next week... Fall Out Boy, Motion City, TSL, and Panic at the Disco....ill be going to this one by myself :(

<lj:music>The Only Difference Between Martyrdom... P!ATD</lj:music>

So last night was Crunk Wednesday....wasn't really that crunk :( After I watched Lost, I went with Ally, and Jesal to the Highlighter party. There were so many people walking on the street wearing white. We looked like we were all going to some massive cult, punch drinking meeting. Well, of course when we get to the party, they tell us that there are too many people in there and we can't get in. Fucking bitches! So we decided to go to Henry's and get some pre-game on. So we met up with some other people there and have a drink. I had the most intense margarita ever! There had to be like 5-6 shots in this thing. I thought it was going to be some small thing, but it ended up being like in the soda cup. That shit was soo good. And loves how that place just got into trouble earlier this week, and they are still selling to minors. hahaha. Anyways, after we finished our drinks, we headed back to the party. Go up to the house, and again they tell us that there are too many people in there. So we were like, "ok fuck this". So we went back to the dorm and played drunk Mario Cart. That game is fucking awsome!

Later on, I was chilling with Jesal and some girls down the hall, and we started telling funny stories. So Jesal tells us this one. So when he was like 9, he went with his family to germany. They went to this old castle and were walking around. He starts to fall behind his family, and goes over to a wall and saw that behind the wall there was like a 50 foot drop. He sees a cat walking along the wall, and the cat was giving him "evil looks". So we walked over to it. Jesal hates cats. So he walked up to it, and the cat moveed away. But he caught the back legs and pushed it off the wall. The cat tried to claw the wall but couldn't get a grip. He just heard the cat screaming the whole way down, and then he heard a "thud". He looked over and saw that it was on its side and wasn't moving. hahahaha. How messed up that was, it was the funniest story i have ever heard. We were all crying from laughing so hard.

So we have been in school for like 2 weeks, and my roommate stll hasn't but ANYTHING up. It is really weird. He is a cool guy and all, but he makes it seem like he has no personality. I haven't heard him listen to any music either. I donno how I could live without music. My walls still need a little work, but they are getting there.

Here are his walls....

So boring!!
